She rolled her eyes that Gillette could be dumb enough to jump overboard, but she didn't think he'd do it. Her expression was urgent. She knew he was expecting her to try and kill him, but she wasn't about to take off her sword and pistol and place them out of reach as reassurance. He was supposed to be afraid of her. She made the "get the hell down here right now" gesture again. It would be easy enough for her to shoot him in the water anyway, and not risk damage to her sails.

Yes, Gillette is dumb. The life of a guard/sailor has been engraved in his mind and only if he had some sort of army would he come down. It would be awhile before he developed smart ideas and fancy moves. He looked at Sylvia once again there was no other option and he knew but he stood up there anyway trying to think of something. Sighing heavily he slid down the loose rope till he hit the ground with his feet. Walking to Sylvia Gillette stopped in front of her with an annoyed look. "What?" He asked sarcastically.

"I have something to show you which you will find very interesting," she replied simply, but with a dangerous sound at the same time. With sword at Gillette's back--though she doubted he would try anything funny after his previous experience--she urged him forward and down the steps to the second, third, fourth level of the ship. Here, in the very bottom, was dark but for a lantern hanging from a rusty hook, and empty except for a bottle-rack against one wall, which at the moment held only a few bottles. She put her sword back in its scabbard. "Are you frightened?" she wanted to know.

Irritably he went where Sylvia wanted him to go. He walked down the creeky wooden steps past the second, third and finally to the fourth level of the ship. Gillette looked at the rusty hook that a lantern hung upon. "Frightened? Of what? You? No, I'm more afraid of that rusty hook giving me tetanus." He replied to her in a snippy tone. Gillette crossed his arms still looking to Sylvia. "Well? What's so important that you need me fussing over it??" He asked her.

"Would you rather I just shot you, right now?" she said in an annoyed tone. "We haven't been acquainted for two hours and already you're giving me about all the crap I can handle." She held up the drawstring bag that was tied to her belt. It pulsed slightly every other second with a vague thumpthump. Opening the bag (but making sure it was far enough that Gillette couldn't grab it) she reached in and pulled out what it held-- a still beating heart.
"You're not nearly frightened enough."

"Obviously you don't have enough patience." He said smartly. When Sylvia held up the bag Gillette didn't even need to see it. He knew what it was immediately. His eyes widened just ever so slightly staring at the heart. Shaking his head he looked at Sylvia again then the heart, then her, then the heart, then back to her. "And?" Gillette asked with his arms still crossed. "Going to summon the krakan to eat me alive??" He sighed heavily along with that. He actually did feel somewhat nervous bit hid it deep with in him and remained content on the outside.

"If I had the Kraken to do my bidding, I would throw you to it without a second thought. But unfortunately for me, I'm on the opposite end of the food chain in this particular matter. Which "regrettably" also goes for you, since you're in my company now."
She put the heart back where it had been, but only paused for a few moments.
"I know it when I make a mistake, and bringing you on board certainly was one. But it doesn't matter, really, that you're here, because you would have been trapped on this ship whether I 'hired' you or not. You know what it is that I have--you knew before I even showed you--and so letting you go either way is unacceptable. "This valuable bit of information is not just between you and me. Davy Jones is on our trail at this moment," she said with intimidating relish and just a hint of fear. "Also following us are the fleets of Lord Cutler Beckett, who I've had dealings with in the recent past. The Black Pearl and her captain, the ever infamous Jack Sparrow. And of course, there's our good friend William Turner, though he's after it for less selfish reasons. "So it'd be in your favour to practice your fearfulness, if you hadn't got that figured out."

"Fine I'm trapped here. I'm your little hostage for right now." Gillette said acting girlish at the last sentence he spoke. He rolled his eyes then looked to Sylvia again. "Have you forgotten about Norington?? His the one who gave Beckett the heart on the first place. From Norington's report he said he stole it from Jack Sparrow and brought before Beckett." Gillette paused. "Beckett's bound to have given Norington his own fleet of galleons. But I supposed you can handle anything...you're a pirate, you're sooo special." Gillette finished raising an eyebrow.
