"That too. Of course it came from an East India Company ship, but the loot is the least of my problems," she retaliated, not moving the pistol from its mark. "I did have enough crew for two ships onboard recently, but escape from a seemingly inevitable fate cost nearly all of them. Tortuga is the perfect source of clueless, dispensable alcoholics to serve me until I can amass better staff. Now you can serve obediently as one of them and keep your life, or I can end it now. The choice is yours."

"Hmph, we'll see about obedient." Gillette said with a scoff. "But I will be apart of your crew as it seems I have no choice." He kept looking at her wondering if she really cared about anything at all.

((She's keeping him alive 'cause he's hot. XD kidding))
Leaving her new and annoying crew member to do as he would--without wrecking anything, of course--Sylvia tucked her pistol back in the loop of her belt and returned to the wheel. As she steered the ship out to open sea, she thought about the possible dangers of the situation. I should have thrown him overboard. No way could I kill someone so good-looking. Oh, you're an idiot, Sylvia. An idiot. But then he would have swam to shore, and he knows my name, the name of the ship, that I had a brush with the EITC, and where I'm going. It's too risky. And now he knows that I have something of great importance. Beckett...that bastard...would come after it. Along with everyone else in the Caribbean. Everyone wants to know their-- Her thoughts were cut off by a sharp gust of wind that blew the wheel abruptly to the left. In her scramble to keep it under control she forgot what she was thinking about before. But the story would undoubtedly intrigue her prisoner...

((lol. I had a feeling.... ;D))
Slightly rolling his eyes he looked around at what might need to be done. Some of the other crew members stared him down wondering what in the world he was doing in that uniform. Gillette ignored them and climbed high to the sails. At least he could think to himself up there. Geez, why do the ones that wanna kill you have to be so hot?? Oh, forget it she's gonna toss me over board anyway. Something too valuable to lose? What could it be? He thought to himself. The same gust of wind came to Gillette only stronger since he was up so high. Shaking his head he looked back down to Sylvia.

Not noticing that someone was almost right over her head, within perfect earshot, Sylvia mutteed to herself while she steered. "Stupid wind, curse it. Oh be quiet, it's not a problem compared to Davy Jones. He must not get it. And of course Beckett wants it back too. And then there's Captain Jack, but he's just a washed-up drunk compared to them. Not to mention that interfering...oh, it was your fault and you know it. Know better than to blab your name to the first person you see, would you!! Poking fun at authority figures isn't what it used to be."

Gillette heard a woman's voice he looked below and realized it was Sylvia, he listened in rather interested. Beckett? Davy Jones? Jack Sparrow? He thought all of these names in his head. What!?? It couldn't possibly. How? How would she be able to get something like that? Thinking that maybe he was jumping to conclusion but he blurted out something rather louder than it needed to be and that was "The heart of Davy Jones."

Sylvia heard the voice from above her, and her eyes shot up to the mast above her, where Gillette sat on the boom. She was shocked to see him up there, uncomfortable because he'd heard what she said and blurted it out, but not enough to blow over the anger that almost instantly flared up in her eyes and expression. He knew. Looking quickly around to make sure no one was there, which there wasn't, she sternly gestured for him to come down to her.

"****" Said Gillette. His mind pondered on what Sylvia might do to him now. "I've got to get out of here." He mumbled. Gillette looked Sylvia in the eyes and shook his head no. Crawling back-wards he grabbed a loose rope that was not in use but was very handy at the moment. It was clear between the two massive pillars on the ship, he could easily swing off and dive into the water. Knowing Sylvia could see him he threatened to jump off ship. Land wasn't too far away but he didn't think about swimming yet.
