"See, litle boy? This is how smart people who know where they rank in the scheme of things address a captain. They don't grab them by the collar and shake them," she said, obviously pleased with the compliment to her ship's loveliness. "You're in luck," she said to Vala, "because it just so happens that we've just set a course for Redmond, and should be there within two days. I don't know what you expect me to do with your weasel of a kid over there, but there's some medicine in the hold that I lifted from a trader recently, so if you can get that emotionally immature and unstable fellow over there to calm down for half a minute, I can send someone who knows what they're doing down to get it and administer it to the kid. You'll have to pay me back, though, because that stuff's hard to come by. Savvy?"

"Name your price and it's yours," Vala said with a small smile. "Hey wait a minute, Captain." Catherine butted in without the slightest care. Vala looked at Catherine then back to Sylvia and whispered, "I think you have two unstable people on your ship," she said staring at Catherine in a weird way then walked back over to the mentally shaken Jamie. Why do you need Beckett?" Catherine asked Sylvia, "I could make much more use of him. I've been trying to hunt him down since he killed my parents mercilessly. I want my revenge."

Sylvia scoffed. "Really, Cathy. I highly doubt that he would have done anything of the sort himself. If anything, he would have sent a hitman after your parents. I fail to see why he should want anything but money from anyone, and judging by the looks of you, you've never been particularly bountiful in that. Now, if you like you can go below with an escort and shoot him in his cell. It would be my pleasure to grant you that, as I have as much reason as you to want him dead. But if you intend to kill him in a way that requires him being taken out of the brig, then you're out of luck." Dismissing the matter as over with, she snapped her fingers and a young man who looked a bit more civilized than the others hurried over. "Robert, if you'd be so kind as to fetch some of those medications I stole last month," she ordered. Robert just nodded and hurried away to do her bidding. "As for you castaway people, I don't know what kind of luxurious lodging you're expecting, but the best you're going to find on my ship is my own personal cabin, which is mine, and therefore you don't have a chance in hell of getting in there. There might be an unoccupied cabin somewhere belowdecks, with a real bed in it instead of just a hammock like what my crew sleeps on, that I could have someone show you to just because I'm wonderfully charitable." She summoned someone over to her. This time it was a man slightly older than the first, who was undoubtedly cleaner and more educated than any of the other crew. "Maybe I lied when I told you there was no doctor on this ship. Did you really think I'd be dumb enough to commandeer medicine without anyone who knew how to handle them? Sorry, but I'm smarter than that. Hughes here has a suitable amount of knowledge of medically related stuff. Hughes, take these people to a vacant cabin, if you can find one." Hughes obliged, heading for the hatch and summoning the party of castoffs to follow.

Jamie picked up Morwenna and fallowed Hughes, as did Billy and Vala. "Very kind of you Captain," Vala said tipping her head and continued to fallowed the rest down below.
Meanwhile, still in a frenzy mode, Catherine yanked pistole from her waist. "Call me what you like, say what you like, but I will kill Beckett this day whether by pistol or if I have to go in the cell with him!" she shouted and stomped below deck.
Desmond on the other hand, who had been watching the entire scene from a seat on a wooden barrel, got up and walked over to Sylvia. "Beckett wasn't the only acquaintance we knew from that group of castaways," he said randomly. "Remember Billy?" he asked.

Mr. Hughes may have been slightly educated but that didn't mean he had to be nice. He took the group below, located a small and dingy but vacant cabin that had a cot rather than a hammock. It was paltry accomodation, but the best the ship had to offer, other than the captain's suite which was worthy of a queen, which she considered herself to be. Like I said, he wasn't especially nice about it, saying bluntly "Take her in there," and "I'll get to her whenever that dumb boy gets back with the meds." Not too much sympathy to be found here. Pirate.
Back up abovestairs, Sylvia reclined on a coil of rope. "Billy? Can't say as I do. Oh yes, the stupid chap from whatever that place was that we went to. A ghastly affair, those clothes were. Why?"

Jamie fallowed Hughes orders intently. He set her down on the bed still staying by her side. He decided against saying whatever he was really thinking about Hughes, Robert and Sylvia. "Do the best you can," Jamie said quietly as he brushed some of Morwenna's hair out of her face.

"That was him," Des said gesturing where the group of castaways were under deck. "The tall one with blond hair. I wonder how he got tied up in the pirate life. As far as I knew he had no interest in it." he said then paused thinking. "Hey, the younger one who was shaking you by the shirt, did he look vaguely familiar?" Des asked.

"Oh, that was him?" she said in response to the first statement about Billy. "Wow. He turned out to be pretty dammed hot." To the thing about Jamie she replied-- "Yeah, now that you mention it, he kinda did. I think he was one of those prissy people with their noses stuck so high up in the air that if it rained, they'd drown." She contemplated it. "Oh yes, now I recall! He was the one I got so much enjoyment out of tormenting by tossing his girlfriend over the stairs!" she remembered with a laugh.

"Dimitri?" Des asked, "No, that can't be. Dimitri died in the war. That has to be his son Jamie! And his step sister Morwenna!" he said in amazement. It had been so long ago since then. Weird how things come around.
Then Catherine appeared on deck again. She didn't say a thing except walk pass Desmond and Sylvia. Though, something seemed different. Her face was more hidden and where had her hair gone too? Course she did have the collar of her coat raised. Still something seemed strange so Des started to walk after her but-- "Des! I don't believe it!" Billy hollered in greeted as he walked up. "Oh, hey Billy." Des replied still a little distracted as Catherine walked aboard her ship and disappeared into the crew. "Weird how things come around eh?" Billy asked.
