"Hmm, did you say something?" Sylvia asked carelessly, glancing over her shoulder momentarily. She didn't really care what he had to say, bt if he was going to be insistent, then fine.

((And yet, Des will continue loving her. mwuah))
"Yes, I said something! You're making sail and we haven't gotten our fair share yet!" Catherine yelled harshly pointing at Desmond. "You'll get it," Des replied turning to her. "Oh, when pigs fly and water turns to gold perhaps? Come on you sniffling water rat. I'm the one who has to put up with that dog of a crew over there and you haven't gotten what you promised us?" Catherine ranted. "I promised it to you, but not yet." Des replied. "Oh, I see you're going to be like that. Forgot what ye said already!? You said you'd get me this gold once you talked to your friend Captain Sylvia here. Now pay up or I don't have d.amn problem blowing you to smithereens!" Catherine shouted. "That is not what I said, I said you would get it soon after I talked to Captain Sylvia."
Desmond and Catherine continued to bicker back and forth for another five minutes which seemed more like an hour. But of course Jemmy was there to break it up with some news of his own. "Look! There's a row boat not far off!" he shouted.

"BREAK IT UP!" Sylvia bellowed, much louder than one would have thought possible from a woman in those days. "Now you'll do well to tell me what you mean by 'your fair share' so I can either give the dammed thing to you, or decide not to just out of spite. So you shut up with the bickering and tell me what the hell you want, or I can shoot you both. Savvy?
She turned halfway to see what Jemmy was yelling about. She saw the boat as well, but didn't take it into much acknowledgement. "Don't expect me to pick anyone up that I can't identify," she said nonchalantly, assuming Jemmy would deal with it.

"He promised us shiny gold coins. A lot of them. He said you'd take us to the hiding place and give us half. Now where is it?" Catherine explained with threatening eyes toward Desmond. She placed her hands on her hips and looked at Sylvia for a response but had it down to her toes with this bickering crap. Catherine then looked onward to the small life boat. Her eyes seemed curious as to who might be in it. Though she kept most of her attention on Sylvia and Des.
Jemmy gave Sylvia a plain look and grabbed a random spyglass to examine theses strangers in the tiny little boat. With an instant he shut the spyglass harshly. "Get some ropes! We're hoisting those people aboard!" he ordered. Men race around getting prepared and before long the small wooden boat reached Sylvia's ship and was hoisted aboard. "Thank god," a voice recognizable as Beckett's whined. "Shut up!" Jamie shouted bringing Morwenna's limp body aboard. "Is there a doctor aboard this ship! Someone please she needs help!" he cried.

"A heap of gold coins? Hiding place?! What the hell did you tell her that for? I know of no hiding place, much less any gold coins. And even if I did, what makes you think I'd give any to you when you haven't even helped me with anything? And even if you had, I don't know what possessed you to think I would repay you for it. That's not the pirate way of thinking, Cathering," she said as if talking to someone who had no life experience, tapping her head as if to say "Gotta learn to be a real piwate, young Cathy, because you don't play right."
Sylvia watched as the boatful of castaways was hauled aboard. If she hadn't been talking to Catherine as they were pulled up she would have left them behind and kept right on sailing, but by the time she noticed, they were already out of the boat. She walked over to where they were in her grand, captainly manner. "First off, I demand an explanation as to who you are, and second--" She cut off, realizing who one of them was immediately. "Cutler Beckett! What the hell do you think you're doing on my ship?! Crew! Lock him in the brig!" A group of several burly don't-mess-with-us type of guys came over to haul Beckett away. Meanwhile, Sylvia looked down disdainfully on what was a bloody and busted-up Morwenna. "What makes you think there'd be a doctor on this ship? Why should you need one?" she asked, pretending not to notice that the teenage girl was knocking at Death's door.

Catherine took a step back somewhat shocked at Sylvia's response. "I--I--I.." she studderd for a response but was as well cut off by the fact that new castaways had been brought aboard. She too realized it was Lord Cutler Beckett with in an instant. "WAIT!" Catherine screamed jumping in front of the don't-mess-with-me dudes. "I don't care whether it is very pirate like of me or not. But I do demand something for my own personal reasons! And I would much obliged if I could take this dirt rag of your hands." she offered. Beckett just stood there barely keeping silenced.
Jamie jumped to his feet. "Don't play dumb with me! She NEEDS a doctor and you know it! Do what ever you want with Beckett but Morwenna needs help!" he cried again as more tears streamed down his face.

"Sorry, lady. Captain's orders," one of the burly men said, shoving past and forcing Beckett along in front of him, down the hatch to the next deck, then down and down t the lowest level, where they threw him into a cagelike cell and locked the multiple latches on the door.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Sylvia was still up on deck dealing with the castaway business. "Well, fine, if you must know, there is no doctor on this ship, because this is a pirate ship, so whatever your little sister is dying of, she gonna die of it pretty fast."

Obviously caught up in the moment Jamie lunged forward grabbing Sylvia by the shirt and yanked her forward. "She is not my sister! She is the one I love dearly! And all you're going to do is stand there while she dies in pain!!?" he cried angrily. Vala, much like Captain Sparrow's staggering, walked forward pulling Jamie away fro Sylvia. "The last you want to do is grab a Captain by his or hers shirt and plead!" she scolded. Turning back to Sylvia, "Captain, we are in need of a trip to Redmond? Is it a high price to buy a ticket on your beautiful vessel?" Vala asked.
