At the moment Sylvia was too busy to wonder what Des had come all that way for. That would enter her mind later. For now, it was fixed on catching herself a talented first-mate who also happened to be a woman. As far as she was concerned, anyone who could knock out a drunk guy with a chair was worthy of her crew.

Anna's long legs carried her rather quickly across the ground. She was fully aware Sylvia was following her. She glanced over her shoulder to see how close Sylvia was. Sylvia was getting closer and closer. Anna picked up a little more speed. What did that man want?

When Anna sped up, Sylvia didn't hesitate to do so herself. She broke into a run after Anna until she was very close behind her, and since everyone else in the road was drunk, no-one would notice if she grabbed her and conveniently slipped away. When she got close enough, she caught Anna by the arm.
((if too powerplayish I can edit it))

Desmond still fallowed like he was doing for the past few minutes. He just stayed behind Sylvia with a quick pace when suddenly and surprisingly something caught his eye. His head turned to the right looking down a dark ally. Desmond heard faint footsteps running away but he decided not to fallow and instead ran back to Sylvia.

((lol thanks))
Anna just gave up running from Sylvia and let her pull her into an alley. "What do you want?" She tried her best to hide the Russian accent. She was getting better at pronouncing English words. Anna waited for her answer, even though she already knew what she wanted.

"I want you to be my asistant on that ship," Sylvia said, gesturing to what she meant on each of the accented words. Of course she could probably find someone just as adept somewhere else, sometime later, but she didn't have a lot of time to waste on later, and she just liked the feeling of superiority the capturing of a new crewman gave her anyway.

"You want me to be your first mate basically?" She said more than asked. She was surprized. Usually she could run just about anyone off. But Sylvia kept on coming. She was a determined woman that wouldn't give up until she got what she wanted. Anna liked that. She felt a little sense of respect for her. Just about as she was going to say something, a drunk passed out on the street, "Anything to get away from this place."
